Sara Wänseth has become the sole general secretary of the Scandinavian Outdoor Group (SOG), a job she had been sharing with Rolf Hilleberg since October. The latter stepped down to let her take charge fully, which turned out to be more practical. Separately, the organization's board was expanded a few weeks ago with three new members from Sätila of Sweden, Helsport and Fjällräven, which has returned to the SOG after a brief time out. The SOG is also preparing to welcome three new development members: Blå Band, a Swedish brand selling outdoor meals; Wildo, the Swedish brand behind foldable cups and many outdoor kitchen utensils; and Kupilka, a Finnish brand specializing in cups and other outdoor utensils made from thermoplastic natural fiber composites.
