The European Outdoor Group (EOG) has announced Quiksilver as a new member of the organization. The addition of Quiksilver brings the total number of full EOG members to 104, plus 10 associate members. The EOG was founded in 2003 by 19 of the world's biggest outdoor brands, which recognized the need for a cohesive, cross-border approach to representing the outdoor sector. The organization now includes brands, technology brands, retailers and national associations as members, from across Europe. Quiksilver's decision to apply for EOG membership was driven principally by the brand's commitment to the environment. Quiksilver has already signed the EOG Sustainability Charter.
