The founder of Patagonia, Yvon Chouinard, and Nike's brand president, Trevor Edwards, have been inducted into the 2015 Marketing Hall of Fame, a scheme run by the New York chapter of the American Marketing Association to celebrate brilliance in marketing across all fields and organizations, including corporations, consulting firms, agencies and universities. This annual honor is open to active practitioners with at least 10 years of experience. The selection process began last September with an open call for nominations, which drew more than 100 nominations. Besides Chouinard and Edwards, this year's inductees also included Shelly Lazarus, chairman emeritus of Ogilvy & Mather, and David Aaker, vice chairman at Prophet and professor emeritus at the Haas School of Business, University of Berkeley.
