Marco Ellerker will be the new managing director of Brasher Boots from next March, taking the place of Andy Loeber, who came over from Rockport four years ago. Ellerker has more recently been with Lacoste Footwear, another business unit of Pentland Group. Without providing any specific figures, the British outdoor footwear company says that its revenues went up by 14 percent in 2010, helped by new products including a lightweight leather walking boot, a mountain boot that is compatible with crampons and multi-activity shoes. In the last three years, the company's sales have grown by 32 percent. Orders for spring and summer are very good, the company says.
