Primaloft has formally become an independent company, following the completion of its management buyout from Albany International for $37.9 million. In connection with the move, Tom Seaver is joining Primaloft as chief financial officer, reporting directly to Michael Joyce, president and chief executive of the American textile insulation specialist. Seaver worked for Albany before acting as CFO of Trans World Entertainment. Primaloft continues to grow in Europe, where it is expanding into summer products with clients such as Odlo.
