ArchiTec, a premium California-based brand of men's technical apparel, has released a special new product, the Endeavour Travel Jacket, through a 30-day Kickstarter campaign launched on May 7. As of this writing, it has drawn $12,667 in pledges, exceeding the funding goal of $10,000. The five-pocket Endeavour borrows the U.S. Army's M65 field-jacket silhouette and is designed to serve as three jackets in one, so as to save space in luggage. The 270 gsm New Zealand merino wool – produced by the Californian textile manufacturer Global Merino and reinforced with a nylon ripstop – regulates temperature, wicks away moisture, dries fast and resists odor. The jacket's collar can be worn up or down and has a reflective band for visibility.
