CMP, the Italian brand owned by the F.lli Campagnolo group, has revamped its Lab collection for spring/summer 2020, producing what it describes as a lighthearted take on sportswear for “urban travelers.” The idea was to take the brand's usual technical apparel and retain much of the comfort and functionality while infusing a more metropolitan look, notably through fabric combinations and color contrasts. There are items for both men and women, from chinos and T-shirts to sweatshirts and jackets. The non-padded jackets are breathable and impermeable, with reflective stripes, maxi zip pulls, contrasting colors and camouflage patterns. The padded versions are made with synthetic, insulating fibers, with quilted effects produced by ultrasonic seams. The stretch cotton garments include dresses and wide, flared trousers for women. The colors range from matte grey and titanium to powdery anthracite, sand and dune yellow and bright fuchsia, orange and white. Among the collection's accessories are sneakers and clean-lined backpacks of alternative materials, such as waterproof polyurethane or recyclable, water-repellent and washable paper.
