Morteza Vaseghi

Colmar has appointed an Iranian-born designer, Morteza Vaseghi, as the new creative director for its third A.G.E. (Advanced Garment Exploration) collection. Vaseghi brings his longtime associate, Norwegian cultural entrepreneur Elise By Olsen, to the project as head of communication. Colmar A.G.E. was first launched three years ago as a hyper-modern equivalent for experimentation and product innovation. Since its inception, the sublabel has regularly invited celebrated designers to reinterpret its archives. In the first year, this was Shayne Oliver, followed by Yosuke Aizawa with White Mountaineering. Colmar says that the autumn/winter 2021 A.G.E. collection puts sustainability at the forefront under Vaseghi’s creative direction.
