GnL, Swiss manufacturer of multifunctional shoes with the patent registered “Glide and Lock” technology, presented its shoe innovations for the first time during last week's OutDoor show in Friedrichshafen. GnL developed a special shoe sole that does not only provide a 3D-cushioning system for vertical and horizontal forces, but also features a slim sole design, in contrast with usual orthopedic shoes. The manufacturer promises 30 percent more shock absorption than with a conventional shoe. The brand won the Ispo innovations award at the beginning of this year, in which framework product samples were presented. Jürg Braunschweiler, founder and designer of the shoe, is supported by his son Eric Braunschweiler as project manager at the office of GnL in Brugg in Switzerland.
