The latest product from GoPro is not an action camera, but a magnetic, waterproof multi-purpose light, the Zeus Mini. The rechargeable light features a robust magnetic swiveling clip and is compatible with the full range of GoPro camera mounts. The Zeus Mini is the first major GoPro product release that is not a camera or camera-only accessory. While it is certainly compatible with GoPro Hero cameras with brightness levels of up to 200 lumens, up to 6 hours of battery life and an included diffuser that delivers a cool color temperature of 5000K, the versatile lamp is also suitable for work, travel, camping or any other situation where a compact additional light source is needed. GoPro founder and chief executive Nicholas Woodman said: “Zeus Mini brings to lighting what the Hero brings to cameras – incredible versatility, design and performance.”
