Kong, an Italian specialist in carabiners for mountaineering and other safety and rescue equipment, has announced a new agreement with Club Alpino Italiano (CAI – Italian Alpine Club) that will see the company release products featuring the CAI logo. The CAI-personalized products will include Kong’s Leef helmet and Medale ferrata kit. Kong is based near Lecco, in Italy’s northwest. CAI was founded in Turin in 1863. The association, which is now headquartered in Milan, promotes the knowledge and protection of the Alpine environment.
