The U.S. multitool manufacturer Leatherman has introduced an antimicrobial tool that protects users from direct surface contact. With the new Clean Contact Carabiner (CCC), Leatherman helps consumers make a smoother transition to the new normality. The multi-purpose tool helps the owner to reduce direct contact with surfaces. At the same time, the brass used for the CCC provides a natural antimicrobial surface. Brass has not yet been used in Leatherman products. Given credible customer satisfaction, an integration of brass in future products is possible according to the brand. The CCC is available with Leatherman’s proven 25-year warranty from June 16 in the Leatherman online shop for €29.95. In Germany, €10 of every CCC sold will go to the non-profit child welfare organization Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk.
