Salewa has decided to voluntarily recall two models of its range of climbing harnesses to ensure best possible safety for its consumers. For the product “Civetta II,” Salewa is calling back all products manufactured before January 2012. The same for the harness “Vertigo 400 Alpindonna,” but only for the items produced in 2009. The items – but only those manufactured in the period mentioned above – were tested for durability and displayed some variations from the safety norms required by independent test institutes.
