Samaya won the French Outdoor Award at the OutDoor by Ispo show in Munich for lightweight tent that comes in three different models: an inflated hoops system, one with aluminum tent poles and one with carbon tent poles. It weighs only 1 to 1.2 kg, depending on the material. Product development was done in Annecy, France, and a partner in China was chosen for the production. The Award is organized by Outdoor Sports Valley, the French trade association of outdoor and winter sports companies. The vote cast by a jury of professionals of the outdoor industry accounted for 80 percent of the final decision, while the vote from the public at OutDoor by Ispo accounted for the balance.
