Scarpa has intensified its relationship with OutDry, the producer of waterproof-breathable laminates. At the OutDoor show, the Italian boot maker is introducing a lightweight hiking shoe, Marmolada Trek, weighing 530 grams per shoe (size EU 42). The product incorporates technology from OutDry, which is now a subsidiary of Columbia Sportswear. This is a change as Scarpa has been a long-time partner of Gore-Tex.
