Tiong Liong, a Taiwan-based textile manufacturer, has collaborated with Invista's Cordura brand team to expand its Air Flow Technology (AFT) collection of fabrics with new knit constructions featuring enhanced abrasion and snagging resistance. Targeted primarily at outdoor, athletic and safety footwear, these breathable fabrics can also be used in mesh applications in backpacks as well as in performance apparel such as motorcycle jackets. The latest Cordura AFT fabrics by Tiong Liong include new high-tenacity options in polyester and nylon 6.6, with the addition of 3D spacer fabric technologies, which are particularly suitable for the outer shell of athletic footwear and hiking and trekking shoes.
