Vibram has announced a new partnership with “Girls on the Run,” a physical-activity based program aimed at inspiring and empowering pre-adolescent girls in North America. For every pair of Vibram-soled shoes sold at participating retailers, the brand will donate 5 percent of the price to “Girls on the Run.” The funds will help support curriculum development and delivery, council training and support and expansion. With the help of more than 120,000 volunteers, the  program involves over 150,000 girls across the U.S. and Canada each year. Girls are encouraged to be healthy and self-confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running. In 2015, the program will reach its 1 millionth participant.
