ABS, the German specialty supplier of the so-called avalanche airbags, is going direct to consumers with its own webshop - shop.abs-airbag.de - dedicated to Austrian and German customers. The company intends to integrate its retail customers into this system through the Shopatron platform. Shopatron allows participating retailers to take over the order from ABS' webshop and to deal directly with the consumer. ABS' retail clients can take part in this system if they fulfill various conditions, such as frequent log-in at the internet shop, quick deliveries and the promise that they have the requested gear on stock.
