Almost simultaneously, Mammut has opened its first store in Spain. This one is is handled by a local retailer and is located in Benasque, in the northern comunidad autónoma of Aragón. The location in the Pyrenees is worth of note since it is also the headquarters of Barrabés, Spain's leading specialty outdoor retailer with a big online stores and seven other regular stores across the country, including two The North Face stores in Benasque and Madrid. The new Mammut door was formerly a multi-brand store called Perramó Ski y Montaña, which now concentrates only on the Swiss brand.
