Canada Goose has announced the opening of two new flagship stores and a larger e-commerce reach. The maker of luxury artic apparel will open its first European flagship store in London this autumn. It will be the brand's largest retail space to date. The company will also open a two-level store in Chicago. Canada Goose plans to open 15 to 20 standalone stores by 2020. Meanwhile, it said it will increase its e-commerce reach with a presence in seven new European markets: Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Belgium, Ireland, Austria and Luxembourg. Canada Goose was originally founded as a manufacturer in 1957, and became a retailer in 2014 with the launch of its first e-commerce site in Canada. Its first branded stores were opened in Toronto and New York last autumn. Canada Goose, which is based in Toronto, is currently sold in nearly 40 countries through multi-brand retailers, but 68 percent of its revenues in 2016 originated from Canada and the U.S.
