Canada Goose has opened a 400-meter branded store on Milan's 10 Via della Siga, its second in Europe after London and its 15th worldwide. Set in the heart of Milan's luxury shopping district, the shop covers two floors and, like the brand's other stores, has a cold room that allows shoppers to try on its €1,000 parkas at temperatures of up to -25 degrees Celsius. The store, which pays tribute to Gio Ponti's 1950s-style design and architecture, features artwork by Alice Pasquini, Qavavau Manumie, Alex Fischer and Meghan Price, inspired by images of the Canadian North. Concurrently with the store opening, Canada Goose has also launched a web store for the Italian market, where it will have to compete more strongly with big fashion-oriented local players like Moncler and Woolrich through its recently widened collection.
