In September, Schöffel and Lowa will open four more stores increasing the number of total doors – both corporate and and franchises – to 16. The new stores will be located in the towns of Siegen, Mainz, Leipzig and Schwabmünchen, a smaller town in the south of Germany, where Schöffel's headquarters are located. All four shops will be opened by franchisees. Interestingly enough, the store in Schwabmünchen will be run a fashion retailer called Schöffel, which has common family roots with the outdoor company has not been connected with it businesswise for a long time.
