In the first half of 2019, Norrøna, the Norwegian brand of outdoor outerwear, will be opening its first brand store in the U.S. on Pearl Street in Boulder, Colorado. In addition to carrying the brand's full range of technical outerwear, Norrøna Boulder will have a repair shop, a community space and an espresso bar. The brand runs more than 20 stores elsewhere in the world, including flagships in Oslo and Stockholm; pro shops in Chamonix, France, and Åre, Sweden; and concept stores in Scandinavia and Western Europe. Last year, Norrøna was “Retailer of the Year” at Virke's Trade Conference in Oslo. The company donates one percent of its revenues to environmental causes.
