La Sportiva is expanding its retail presence in Spain with the opening of a new franchised mono-brand store at Siurana, in the region of Catalonia. Nested in the Tarragona mountains, Siurana is a major attraction for climbers thanks to its vertical walls, slabs and steep overhangs, and grades varying from 5a to 9a+. Siurana is home to “La Rambla,” a famously difficult 41-meter-long climbing route. La Sportiva has another store in Spain, one in Mexico and six others in its home country, Italy.
