Moncler has announced the opening of two pop-up stores in New York and Tokyo on Oct. 4, to mark the launch of “The House of Genius,” a new concept store for its Genius collections. The two concept stores are interactive spaces, enlivened by special activities and designed to establish close contact with the metropolitan context in which they are located. The New York store is in SoHo at 106 Spring Street, while the Tokyo store is located at 5-2-12 R2-A Minami - Aoyama, Minato-Ku. The House of Genius will soon feature in more than 50 pop-ups within Moncler's flagship stores, select boutiques and department stores around the world. The announcement of the two pop-ups follows the Chinese debut of Moncler Genius collections on Tmall Luxury Pavilion, the luxury shopping platform of Alibaba, from Sept. 27 to Oct. 14. The Genius project, which was unveiled at Milan Fashion Week in February, comprises eight mini-collections, each designed by a different designer.
