Patagonia has released a new version of its 850 Down sleeping bag. It is inspired by the mummy-style bag that Yvon Chouinard himself, the founder of the brand, built for him as a climber 45 years ago, when the company did not yet exist. The down sleeping bag, available in -7°C and -1°C models, is built for three-season use, and for technical outdoor experiences ranging from casual to progressive. Each bag is said to contain only 850-fill-power traceable down. The shell fabric is in quick-dry nylon ripstop Pertex Quantum fabric, whose Y-shaped filament technology enhances the performance of the durable water-repellent finish.
