Snowleader, the French online retailer for ski and outdoor products, is expanding into the Italian market, with a dedicated web store in the Italian language offering more than 18,000 products, including local brands like Montura. It's the eighth market for the Annecy-based company, after France, the U.K., Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Spain. The move is expected to push the ratio of sales outside the French market to more than 50 percent. After reaching a level of €22.6 million last year, total sales are projected to go up by 30 percent in 2019, according to the French press. Besides its online stores, Snowleader has physical stores in Annecy and two other French cities – Lyon and Chamonix.
