Since 2009, Keen has organized “Envirotrek,” an event to collect waste in the wilderness. In summer 2010, 200 people did their utmost to collect 300 kilos of waste in touristic areas in France, Belgium and Austria. The initiative was not only about soda cans and any type of packaging, but also about a couple of car tires, one bed and … guess what … a washing machine. This year, the project will be extended to the Netherlands and Germany and other vountires.
