Emerald Expositions Events, the company formerly known as Nielsen Expositions that owns Outdoor Retailer, Surf Expo, Interbike and some 50 other B2B trade shows in the U.S., has filed to go public on the New York Stock Exchange, boasting excellent figures. Its revenues in the sports segment grew to $71 million in 2016 from $67 million in the previous year, contributing to a 5.7 percent increase in total revenues to $323.7 million. The adjusted Ebitda margin reached 47 percent and the company's net income rose by 11.3 percent to $22.2 million. OR is the biggest of its 18 sports-related trade shows and one of the five biggest events across the company.
