In an interesting move, The North Face has decided to exhibit at the Asia Outdoor show in Nanjing, China, whose eighth edition will take place July 24-27, 2013. The two leading international brands in the Chinese market, TNF and Columbia Sportswear, have not shown at the major trade shows in the country, since their usual strategy has been to rely on their own networks of corporate stores. In contrast, leading domestic brands such as Toread, Kailas, Mobi Garden, King Camp and others usually exhibit in Nanjing and/or at Ispo Beijing.
