Kielce Sport Lato, the summer edition of the Polish sports and outdoor fair, has shrunk to only a dozen trade exhibitors after it was moved to October. The fair was previously a bustling event held in August, and drawing most of the leading outdoor brands and distributors in the country. The organizers said that they were asked to move the dates a little earlier this year, in July, but then got surprisingly little response from exhibitors – perhaps due to the proximity with the OutDoor fair in Friedrichshafen. They therefore decided to cancel the July event and to invite sports and outdoor companies to join a downsized fair held at the same time as the third Bike Expo in the first week of October. Hot on the heels of its Nordic outdoor market report, The Outdoor Industry Compass is launching an East European market research report, starting with Poland, for which the editorial team welcomes your input.
