Markus Hefter, who has been in charge of Ispo Munich for the past ten years, has become personally responsible also for the new OutDoor by Ispo fair as exhibition group director. He had already served as outdoor project director for Ispo between January 2006 and October 2008. Hefter reports to Tobias Gröber, executive director of the consumer goods business unit at Messe München since 2004. He will be aided by an enlarged team of “five community managers” who will take care of specific segments for all the Ispo shows, including those in China. Two of them – Franziska Zindl and Bastian Dietz – are new. Zindl, who previously worked on digitalization at Messe Berlin, will be responsible for the new “Digitize – Retail & Industry Services” area. Dietz, who comes from the bike industry, will be responsible for the Snowsports & Bike area. Kim Scholze remains responsible for Outdoor, Constanze Fuchs for Sports Fashion, Performance and Health & Fitness, and Engin Müller-Oezer for Textgrends, Sourcing & Manufacturing.
