Röjk, a new member of the Scandinavian Outdoor Group (SOG) since the beginning of this year, won the overall SOG award for its jacket “PrimaLoft zippen hood.” The winner in the hardware category was Bergans of Norway with their “Trollhetta” backpack, with a volume of 75 liters. In the apparel category, Klättermusen won the SOG award for their “Durin” pants. The jury, consisting of eight journalists from six different countries, gave three honorable mentions to Silva for a new headlamp, Helsport for its Lifjell backpack (35-45 liters), and Devold from Norway for its shirt made from merino wool. A total of 20 nominated products were tested in Austria at the beginning of last week. The SOG awards were announced during the OutDoor show in Friedrichshafen last week.
