Wolverine Worldwide has appointed Gene McCarthy as president of the Merrell brand, reporting to Jim Zwiers, president of the company's Performance Group. His experience of more than 30 years in the footwear and apparel industry includes leadership roles as senior vice president of footwear at Under Armour, co-president of Timberland, senior vice president of global footwear at Reebok and various stations at Nike.
