As reported by Sport Partner, Bob Kooijmans, the passionate Dutch entrepreneur who founded The Nomad Company 40 years ago, died from illness on Dec. 27. In July 2014, he lost his 47-year-old son Barry, who died together with his wife and their two young daughters in the crash of a Malaysia Airlines plane that was shot down over Ukrainian territory. The Nomad Company has been led since the beginning of 2015 by Peter Korver, former general manager for Puma in the Benelux countries and former managing director for Hi-Tec Sports in the Benelux countries, Germany and Austria who took over its helm from Barry and his sister Anouk, with a minority stake in the company.
