ABS Peter Aschauer, the specialty company of airbags and avalanche rescue backpacks, has decided to invest in its own production facility just 120 kilometers away from the equally new offices outside Munich. For the last three years, manufacturing has been sourced out to external partners, but ABS believes that own production will ensure a maximum of flexibility and made sense after a period of strong growth. The choice of the location came down to a small town in Bavaria that is close to Austria, one of the most important markets of the company.
