Klättermusen, a Swedish outdoor brand best known for its efforts in sustainable apparel, reports that it has signed a long-term contract for a software called Centric SMB, a cloud-based product lifecycle management solution designed for small and medium-sized businesses. Sara Hult, global production manager at Klättermusen, said her company needs scalability as it “opens up new markets, expands our product range and increases the number of suppliers.” Centric SMB is described as an out-of-the-box solution, which, according to its developer, Centric Software, enables Klättermusen to easily add users, modules and processes as the company changes and grows, giving it a competitive advantage by streamlining processes. The software also helps to improve the brand’s products, as it is designed to accelerate product development, optimize production costs and increase brand responsiveness. Chris Groves, president and CEO of Centric Software, said: “Centric SMB will enable Klättermusen to rapidly execute on its ambitious future plans for growth and the development of new territories while continuing to drive high-quality innovations for outdoor enthusiasts”. Centric Software is headquartered in Silicon Valley, but employs a local support team in Sweden.
