Kong, the Italian company specializing in safety and rescue equipment, has announced a strategic partnership with Alp Design, also headquartered in Italy. Alp Design is a manufacturing company in the field of caving and canine rescue. Founded and managed by Stefano Masserini, it has been a pioneer in creating products and equipment for cave exploration. The Alp Design brand will continue to exist, and Masserini will remain at the company’s helm. The partnership will allow Kong to expand its competence and production capacity while guiding the Alp Design brand “to a more modern and international market vision,” said Kong in its release.
