Craghoppers, the U.K.-based marketer of functional outerwear, has agreed to seal a strategic partnership with the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. Fossey was the famous U.S. scientist and environmentalist who sacrificed her live for the protection of the gorillas in Rwanda. The fund is devoted to the apes and the protection of their natural habitat. Craghoppers will support these ideals by equipping the foundation's staff with gear and will raise funds. The money goes to facilities that take care of baby gorillas, which have been rescued from poachers and to the improving education of the local people by supporting 3,000 primary schools with equipment and through scholarships.
