The U.S. division of Garmont is donating 1,000 pairs of tactical boots to first responders in the state of New York. The donation is part of the Italian footwear brand’s #StayWild #HopeWild social good initiative, which itself began with the donation of a special Tikal Tricolore shoe to the Protezione Civile (national emergency service) in the Italian region of Veneto, where the company is based. On Earth Day (April 22), Garmont also began donating 25 percent of each purchase on www.garmontnorthamerica.com to Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.), a non-profit organization that provides services to police dealing with the death of colleagues who have deceased in the line of duty.
