Haglöfs has won the Sustainability Brand of the Year award, from the Swedish trade magazine Sportfack. It was presented at Swesport, the Swedish outdoor and sports trade show, which ran in Stockholm on Jan. 11-12. In 2013, Haglöfs defined an array of ambitious sustainability goals that would be achieved in 2015. These include making 50 percent of all its clothing products and 40 percent of footwear from recycled material, and ensuring that 80 percent of all clothing products and 50 percent of hardware products are made with bluesign-approved materials.
