IC Companys, the Danish parent company of Peak Performance and other brands, has joined the likes of Nike, Patagonia and Timberland as a member of the Sustainable Apparel Coalition. The organization is seeking to build a common approach for measuring and evaluating performance in the area of corporate responsibility, spotlighting priorities for action and the best possible allocation of resources. H&M, Inditex, Marks & Spencer and Otto Group are also among its members. SAC claims to already be aggregating about 35 percent of the world market for apparel and footwear.
