Isbjörn of Sweden will now be selling the so-called GuppyFriend washing bag in its online stores as part of its commitment to environmental sustainability. GuppyFriend is a patented solution designed to prevent any microfibers of Isbjörn's fleece garments from entering the waste stream. The self-cleaning bag filters out the tiniest microfibers that are released from textiles during the wash cycle, thereby preventing them from ending up in oceans. The bag is made from a special micro-filter material which collects the fibers. Isbjörn of Sweden is an official bluesign System Partner. The brand's autumn/winter 2018 range is more than 90 percent bluesign product approved.
