Lelio Nahum, one of the founders and two-time president of the European Fishing Tackle Trade Association (EFTTA), has died at his home in Italy following a short illness. Nahum, a well-known fishing industry figure, was president of EFTTA once in the 1980s and in the 1990s, and then between 2006 and 2007. He was also a member of the board from 1982 to 2009, a term during which he was involved in setting up collaboration between EFTTA and representatives of the Chinese fishing tackle industry through China Fish. In Italy he represented brands such as Abu Garcia, Shakespeare, Mepps, Mustad, Berkley, D.A.M. and Panther Martin. During the 1980s he created Master Fish, one of the first fishing tackle shop franchises.
