Lenzing and Dupont Biomaterials have teamed up on a new sustainable fabric collection, made predominantly of fibers derived from natural materials. The collaboration blends Tencel Lyocell and Tencel Modal fibers from Lenzing with Dupont Sorona fibers, to give soft garments greater resilience in stretch, recovery and dimensional stability. Sorona is made from 37 percent renewable plant-based ingredients, while Lenzing's Tencel textile specialty brand is derived from sustainably sourced natural raw material wood. The first collection will include various versatile applications, from intimate apparel to active wear and ready-to-wear.
