Lifestraw, the Dutch-based manufacturer of water filters and purifiers, has announced that it will be joining the Conservation Alliance in the U.S., while releasing a special edition of its LifeStraw Go bottle, called “Big Adventure, Small Footprint.” The special-edition bottle includes a filter in its built-in straw, like other LifeStraw's bottles, but five percent of its sales will be donated to the Alliance's public lands programs. The Conservation Alliance was founded in 1989 by four companies in the outdoors industry: REI, Patagonia, The North Face, and Kelty. Member dues go toward protecting the wilderness in the U.S.
