Lowa, the German based producer of outdoor shoes, has financed the building of a school in Nepal with an investment of €75,000. Matthias Wanner, sales manager at Lowa, handed the check over to the Nepalhilfe Beilngries association during a benefit performance of Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner and Ralf Dujmovits, athletes sponsored by Lowa, at the association's headquarters in Jetzendorf. Representatives of Lowa will be attending the re-opening of the Namuna Jansewa Lower Secondary School, where currently nine teachers and 170 children study in a dilapidated building. Lowa is also sponsoring other aid projects in Nepal.
