Mammut has joined the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC), the clothing, footwear and textile industry alliance for sustainable production. The Swiss outdoor brand will now begin the progressive implementation of the SAC's Higg Index, a set of standardized tools with which industry stakeholders can measure the sustainability performance of suppliers, brands and products in terms of environmental impact, working conditions and other factors. This approach is meant to offer greater transparency and to favor continuous improvement throughout the entire industry.
