Odlo has struck a partnership with Myclimate, under which the Swiss outdoor and sports apparel company will donate 1 percent of the turnover generated with its products using the Ceramicool technology in the autumn/winter 2017 season to the Swiss-based non-profit organization. Odlo's contribution will support a community-based reforestation project in Nicaragua and is meant to offset the CO2 emissions generated by the production of garments with Ceramicool, an active cooling technology launched by Odlo last spring. Myclimate is an organization that supports projects relating to climate protection as well as consultation and education. The Swiss group describes itself as one of the leaders in voluntary quality compensation measures.
