Sherpa Adventure Gear presented its new Yatra collection of backpacks and accessories at the Ispo show in Munich. For the new collection, Sherpa cooperates with a non-governmental organization, Room to Read. For each item of the Yatra collection sold, Sherpa will donate one schoolbook for a Nepalese child. The collection will be on sale in stores from autumn 2018. Sherpa reported that its orders for spring/summer 2018 were up by 85 percent as compared to the previous year. The company recently opened its first flagship store in the U.S. on Nov. 11 in Seattle. Sherpa's strongest market is Germany, which accounts for 30 percent of the company's total sales.
